Medical malpractice defense and personal injury attorney Bob Sappe has represented a variety of health professionals in many different specialties, including cardiologists, obstetricians, otolaryngologists, gastroenterologists and orthopedic surgeons. Bob has expertise in representing physicians in professional disciplinary matters before the Department of Health’s Office of Professional Medical Conduct. He also has extensive experience representing clients in personal injury cases, ranging from products liability to car accidents to legal malpractice.
Bob attended Pace University in Westchester County where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 1982, with honors. He then went on to Pace University Law School where he graduated with honors in 1985. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1986 and started his career with the New York State Organized Crime Task Force.
Bob later entered private practice in the Hudson Valley as a litigator in the New York State and Federal Courts. In 1995, he joined the firm of Feldman, Kleidman & Coffey LLP (now Feldman, Kleidman, Coffey, Sappe & Regenbaum LLP) doing both medical malpractice defense and plaintiff’s personal injury.
Bob is a member of the Dutchess County Bar Association and the New York Medical Defense Bar Association. He is a lifetime resident of Dutchess County and resides with his wife in East Fishkill.
